The flight of dream and fancy
Rising up on darkest sky
Taking wing o'er deepest sea
Soaring far on inward eye
A rising moon showers dreams
Upon the sleeping minds
The stars above, granting hope
Upon nocturnal kinds
Dreams and hope, shadow's gift
Darkness hides the pain
Night takes wing and takes the mind
To soar above the sane
The flight of dream and fancy
Pulls away from life and "truth"
Reality is now unreal
As my mind sees life anew
